Did you know the Wauseon Public Library has more than just books? From printing to faxing and computer and internet services, the library is ready to help assist our patrons to the best of our ability.

Leap Into Learning with StoryTime at the Wauseon Public Library! Perfect for children ages 0-5 and their caregivers, Leap Into Learning combines Read, Write, Play, Talk, and Sing with Ohio's Early Development Standards--effectively bridging the educational gap between infancy and preschool.

Join Kenzie and Connie Tuesdays at 11:00AM for reading, music, movement, and more!

Registration is required for the free monthly book. Drop-ins for StoryTime are always welcome!

The Wauseon Public Library is hosting a Meet the Author event with Steve Chernenkoff! Steve is a cartoonist, author, and the creator of Dodo Burt and Carleton Crab! Come join us on April 25th at 4:30 pm for a special book reading, a fun craft, and a chance to chat with the creator himself! 

Tie-Dye your very own Wauseon Public Library Summer Reading Program shirt! Shirts are available in both child and adult sizes. Patrons who wear their SRP shirt to our Kick-Off carnival will receive a small prize (while supplies last)!

Registration is required for the Tie-Dye event. A $3 (kids) and $5 (adults) deposit per shirt is required for registration prior to the event. Shirts will be delivered the day of the event. Please register at the circulation desk!

The Wauseon Public Library's 2025 Summer Reading Program is almost here! Starting Monday, May 12th, summer reading program packets are available for pickup to get you started on your summer of fun! Come to the library to sign up for our Tie-Dye shirt event (Friday, May 23rd - 3:30 pm), and don't forget, the Kick-Off Carnival will be on Friday, June 30th at 11 am! Every patron who wears their tie-dye shirt to the Kick-Off Carnival will receive a special prize (while supplies last!). We can't wait to see you!
